How to Get Rid of Stomach Pain

There are numerous parasitic infections which can cause chronic stomach pain. Using herbs such as black walnut hulls, wormwood and garlic can provide tremendous relief. However there are other infections which can also be a problem such as H.Pylori which is a bacterial infection of the stomach also caused by low stomach acid. Remember stomach acid is your friend, not your enemy as the media and doctors often portray, without it parasitic and bacterial infections can thrive!

There are three common causes of acid stomach. This is not an exhaustive list and should not be considered medical advice. Always consult your doctor if you are suffering the symptoms of acid stomach or acid reflux. If you are experiencing the symptoms of acid stomach, but the above causes do not seem to apply, then you might have a loose muscle at the base of the esophagus. In this case, you will most likely be suffering regular repeated attacks together with a feeling of burning or constriction in the throat.

If your stomach is already full of other foods to be digested after a meal say and then you eat fruit such as a dessert or fruit platter, the swallowed fruit becomes blocked behind that food just eaten, preventing an easy passage through the stomach. A fruit dessert at the end of your main meal will only encourage Stomach Pain... why not try having fruit as a 1st course instead. Then allow 25-30 minutes digestion before you eat any other foods.

Stomach pain unfortunately can have many causes. The good news is that many of these causes are quite common, such as: Eating Foods you're Sensitive to - This can include wheat, dairy and soy based foods which are all highly allergenic. Even if pin prick blood tests don't indicate it, don't be fooled into believing you can eat these foods without consequence, they've all been linked to digestive disorders of all kinds.

Stomachaches can also result from unexpressed anger. Cramping pain is often prescribed as a fist in the stomach. Psychologically, there is probably someone that you are mad at or irritated with, someone you wish you could hit. If you feel a fist in your stomach, ask yourself "Whom would I like to punch and why?" It may be another person, or it may be yourself.

The ultimate cause of stomach pain as it is a yeast that overgrows in a majority of the population. It causes enzyme production disruption, a reduction in beneficial bacteria which breaks down food and lowers the production of both stomach acid and bile. It essentially pulls apart the strings of your entire digestive system. So anyone who suffers from digestive problems of any kind must seriously address this problem.

All of the symptoms listed above in most cases are brought on by difficulties digesting your food. Your digestive process plays an extremely important role in maintaining a high energy level. If your foods do not digest efficiently and properly, you will pay with a loss of energy and most likely you will eventually suffer from one or more of the problems listed above.

A Guide For Tooth Whitening

Tooth Whitening is the process used to improve the brightness of the teeth, which is achieved by removing as much staining as possible. The techniques used range from natural home remedies to chemical and laser teeth whitening methods performed by cosmetic dentists. The constant build up of organic pigments on the teeth can cause them to discolour over a period of time.

The most effective and safest method of teeth whitening is the dentist-supervised procedure. First, the dentist will determine whether you are a candidate for teeth whitening and what type of whitening system would provide the best results. The dentist should also go over what you personally can expect for your individual situation.

Whitening toothpastes bleach teeth-Very few if any whitening toothpastes actually can chemically whiten your teeth. In fact, most if not all of the whitening toothpastes contain only mechanical abrasive products that help you scrub off surface stains when brushing. Though many over-the-counter products with milder whitening agents may take weeks to work, you can sometimes see dramatic results in less than an hour from whitening procedures done by your dentist in the dental office. Sometimes, people can experience eight or more shades brighter in less than an hour.

As mentioned above, some people experience minor side effects from the tooth whitening process. If you experience tooth sensitivity, simply give it a break for a few days then start the treatments up again. If sensitivity persists, switch to a toothpaste that is made for sensitive teeth. These toothpastes contain ingredients that can help to soothe the nerve endings of your teeth. If the treatment involves a tray, wear it for shorter periods of time.

Zoom is a laser whitening gel with a special light that penetrates the teeth, breaking up stains and teeth discoloration, treatments take around 1 hour. The results of this treatment are immediate. This type of teeth whitening system is approved by many oral health care professionals and is done under their supervision. Zoom is very safe with very few complications or side effects and relatively painless. Whiteness will vary among different people depending on the structure and condition of teeth before the procedure.

These two known teeth pastyners can get into the deeper layers of your teeth, prudently eliminating the hard-to-delete stains on your teeth. Depending on the severity of the dispaintation, the teeth pastyning or teeth bleaching route can last for months. Most of the people through out the world are discontented with the craze they grin. But the promoted aesthetic dentistry has come up with somewhat a few therapys that can change your appearance and make you look gorgeous. makeup dentistry is more of an art pretty than a skill.

After a Teeth Whitening Procedure

Teeth whitening results do not last forever - on average you can expect between several months and a year. However the good news is that you can prolong the effects of teeth whitening by simply avoiding foods and beverages that stain teeth and smoking. Such foods and drinks include but are not limited to coffee, tea, red wine, and berries. If you decide to consume these foods then brush your teeth immediately after.

There are many different ways to help you lighten and remove freckles. Some of them are home remedies that you can easily do at home, and some are more professional treatments that your skin doctor should do for you which brings faster results. Methods like lemon juice or various creams only help you lighten your freckles for a short time. The next time you get exposure to sunlight for a long while, your freckles will start appearing again.

Skin lighteners: for clearing blemishes and freckles, you can prefer some skin whitening creams, stretch mark removal creams etc. Before choosing these products, make sure that you are knowledgeable of your skin type. Choosing natural creams and lotions will also be a good option when it comes to blemishes and freckles removal. It is also good to choose natural ingredients to get rid of freckles and blemishes. Many of this type of creams have given the guaranteed solution. One such most advised cream is called as Meladerm.

Lemon juice is proven to help lighten freckles and dark spots on your skin. So yes, it is an effective way to reduce freckles. But on the other hand, it is usually not enough to remove all freckles totally and completely. So even though you can lighten your freckles and reduce them, still they are visible. Also another downside for using this method is that the results are short term and NOT permanent. This means even though you may succeed to lighten your freckles and be happy for a while, the next time you get exposure to strong sunlight.

Being genetically prone to freckles, makes it much more likely to develop them when you get exposure to strong sunlight. Even after you have developed freckles, it is not the end of the game - but just the beginning. The longer you get exposure to the sun light, the darker your freckles will get. Also they may spread more on new parts of your face or body that had no freckles before.

Microdermabrasion systems use various particles including diamonds, aluminum oxide and salt crystal to abrade the skin. Before the treatment, the area is thoroughly cleansed to take away excess oil. The resurfacing device gently scrapes off the skin removing dead skin cells, allowing smoother and plumper skin to reveal. The vacuum attached to the device unclogs the pores and aids with the stimulation of the blood hastening the blood circulation that provide the nutrients needed for the skin regeneration.

Permanent scarring is the number one concern of people who attempt to remove these skin problems. Most of the traditional methods for removing these types of skin issues have a high risk of producing scarring and discoloration. The all natural methods outlined in the book not only painlessly remove these problems, but also give you the ability to remove them with zero risk of scarring.

Viral Lung Infection

Pneumonia is the infective, inflammatory or obstructive process of the filling with anything such as fluid, pus, mucus, bacteria, or pollen of the millions of tiny microscopic air baggies (sacs.) The sacs (alveoli) are located at the tips of these and become smaller and smaller until they are small tubes of the respiratory tubal system. These tubes are used to transport air and the sacs are used for the diffusion of oxygen into the bloodstream. Asthma is an over-sensitive airway disease.

Children between 6 months and 2 years of age are at greater risk from the virus. In addition, women who are more than three months pregnant during the flu season are also prone to complications, along with anyone suffering from chronic heart conditions. In relation those with lung disease or kidney problems may suffer additional adverse effects. Those suffering diabetes or those with weak immune systems are also more susceptible.

Herbal treatments are designed to work with your body, recognizing its symptoms as part of the body's self-healing process. It does not ignore or suppress your sinus infection as most herbs taken to cure your sinus will pass harmlessly through your system if not needed but prescribed drugs are stored in some of your organs. Herbal treatments are holistic finding various methods to stimulate your body to stay healthy and this gives essence to one of the best sinus home remedy to cure your sinus.

Viral infections are more common than bacterial. Antibiotics are unnecessary if there is no evidence of bacterial infection. Fever may be controlled with paracetamol which can be given every six hours if necessary. Antitussives (drugs for suppressing cough) may be given if the cough is dry in older children. Nasal decongestants may be given for watery nasal discharge.

Bacterial Infection - This is the most common type, because in the human body, there are 10 times more bacteria cells than human cells. Common examples of this infection include strep throat, gastroenteritis (diarrhea), sinus infection, yeast infection, and ear infection. If you have a bacterial infection, physicians will prescribe you antibiotics, and change your lifestyle, so your immune system will deal with the bacteria properly.

There are two types of this canine fungi infection, nasal and disseminated. How severely it affects your dog will depend entirely on whether it stays in just their naval cavity or if it becomes disseminated. Disseminated means that it escapes from the nasal cavity and starts to grow and spread throughout your dog's entire body. The nasal form of this infection is very common for any breed of dog that has a large or medium nasal structure.

Common cold, a mild infection in the nose and throat by a virus, can be prevented by doing a regular ling mudra along with the kapalbhati pranyama (breathing technique), which results in inhaling more oxygen in to lungs thereby curing cold.

Hence Yoga practice helps one to fight against many psychosomatic disorders/viral diseases and improves his immune system and handle the stressful situations in a more positive manner.

Heart Attack – Signs and Symptoms

A heart attack is a life-threatening event. Everyone should know the warning signs of a heart attack and how to get emergency help. Many people suffer permanent damage to their hearts or die because they do not get help immediately. A heart attack [or Myocardial Infarction (MI)] occurs when the supply of blood and oxygen to an area of heart muscle is blocked, usually by a clot in a coronary artery. Often, this blockage leads to arrhythmias that cause a severe decrease in the pumping function of the heart and may bring about sudden death.

A heart attack occurs primarily because of a blockage in one or more of the main arteries that deliver blood to the heart. A build-up of fatty deposits on the arterial walls gradually narrows the vessel, allowing less blood through to the heart. Add to this a surface buildup of plaque and over time the regular flow of blood can be slowed considerably.Often in this situation the outer plaque will rupture, causing a blood clot to form inside the artery.

Symptoms of heart attacks include anxiety, a feeling of impending doom, chest pain, sweating, shortness of breath, palpitations, nausea, and vomiting. Oftentimes, heart attack patients will feel sick very suddenly. The symptoms for heart attacks in men are often different from the symptoms in women. Women most often experience fatigue, shortness of breath, and a feeling of weakness.

Medications are used immediately in a heart attack. The first goal is to break up or prevent blood clots. Additional goals are to stabilize plaque, and keep blood platelets from congregating and sticking to plaque. Of course, it is hoped that the medications will prevent additional trouble. In order to reduce damage to the heart, physicians must administer these medications within 30 minutes from the time the heart attack symptoms began. Medications given may include any combination of aspirin, heparin, so-called clot busters, and other anti-platelet drugs.

A heart attack happens after a part of the heart muscle is damaged or dies due to oxygen starvation. Heart attacks usually begin with a blockage in one or more main arteries (blood vessels) that lead into the heart. The most common cause is atherosclerosis, a buildup of fatty deposits and plaque inside the arteries. Over time, as this buildup increases, the flow of blood is gradually reduced more and more until damage to the heart muscle causes a heart attack.

Approximately eighty percent of people having anxiety attacks have a rapid or irregular heart rate. Many of these people think they are on the verge of having a heart attack. They will complain that their heart is racing, or beating much too fast. In most cases if rapid heart rate is not accompanied by severe pain its an anxiety attack. While heart rate will change during a heart attack, the more common symptom that is not usually present with an anxiety attach is extreme pain. Pain in the center of the chest that lasts more than a few minutes is one sign of a heart attack.

Male Andropause Symptoms

Andropause is a medical condition caused by low testosterone levels in men. Low testosterone levels affect some men in their late 20s, and all men experience the symptoms of andropause to some extent in their 40s and beyond. Andropause in men is similar to menopause in women, except the symptoms of andropause (and the intensity of those symptoms) can vary greatly. It is estimated that at least 95% of men in their fifties experience the symptoms of andropause.

Like menopause, andropause is related to estrogen levels. While menopause is caused by a 'decrease' in estrogen levels in women, men may experience an 'increase' in estrogen levels during andropause. Maintaining a healthy balance of estrogen is important in men. Estrogen helps improve brain function, protect the heart, maintain strong bones, and increase male libido. However, men may experience a spike in estrogen levels during andropause, causing negative side effects.

The following is a list of symptoms that may be associated with andropause. Males may experience some, none or all of these symptoms as their testosterone levels decrease with age.

• fatigue or loss of energy

• moodiness, ranging from sadness to anger

• low sex drive

• inability to achieve or maintain an erection

• loss of physical agility

• nervousness

• unexplained weight gain or a reduction of muscle mass and an increase in body fat

A reduction in testosterone happens naturally in all men as they age and there is no way of predicting who will be affected and to what degree. What is important is that men recognize that the reduction in testosterone can increase the risks of life threatening illnesses such as heart disease and osteoporosis and can be detrimental to good overall health. A reduction in testosterone happens naturally in all men as they age and there is no way of predicting who will be affected and to what degree.

Andropause is the men`s answer to women`s menopause. While male are able to reproduce much later in life than most female, they go trough many physical and mental changes as their body ages. But unlike women with their menopause, not all men experience Andropause. Men go trough a steady testosterone decline, at a 10% loss every decade starting at thirty, but some feel more powerful effect than others.

So in a normal man, this blood flow will continue as long as the thoughts are there. And hence, the more blood flows down there, causing the result of a hardened erection. However, when the man's thought is interrupted or moved to another activity, the penis will return to its relaxed state. But men under the influence of male menopause have erectile dysfunction no matter what's on their mind. So it is probable that Andropause sufferers are going to have to do something else rather than just thinking about that nude model or anything sexual to obtain an erection.

Another significant symptom of andropause is a lowered libido. This is heavily linked in to the decreased levels of testosterone he is experiencing. It is during this time in his life when sex will suddenly become a non-issue as he simply doesn't feel the drive for it. While the lowering testosterone levels are hard to notice, the lowered libido, however, is an instant red flag to most men.

Treatment For Enlarged Liver

Enlargement of the liver can become a life-threatening condition. It is extremely essential to seek treatment as soon as possible. There are several methods in Ayurveda, which can help prevent and treat the condition of hepatomegaly. The increase in the size of the liver happens gradually due to various factors. Some of them are glandular fevers, hepatitis, malaria, liver abscesses and even more serious causes such as leukemia and lymphomas.

Ayurveda places the liver at the center of the body. It is the house of all the five digestive agnis, or fires, and hence if anything goes wrong with the liver, digestion will be the first activity to come under peril. The liver is also responsible for converting plasma (Rasa dhaatu) to blood (Rakta dhaatu) in conjunction with the spleen. Thus, liver defects can cause serious blood ailments also.

Children whose diet is deficient in calcium suffer from nosebleed. If the diet includes mil, oranges, green vegetables and other calcium bearing substances nosebleed will automatically vanish after some time.An immediate expedient is to wash the face of the child with cold water. A bandage half an inch thick and two inches broad should be wetted with water and applied to the spinal column of the sufferer from nosebleed for fifteen to twenty minutes to give immediate relief.

Aches, fatigue, itching, breathing, bleeding problems, kidney, eating and, believe it or not shoulder problems are often symptoms of a dysfunctional liver. The liver performs over 500 functions in the body, so it is logical that when something goes wrong in the liver, it would affect something else too. There are several scientific, clinical double-blind studies done onArtichoke and Sarsaparilla. Artichoke and Sarsaparilla have been used to normalize liver and gall bladder function in clinical settings for over 20 years.

A Liver disease can be described as the infection affecting liver. Cancer, Hepatitis, Glycogen storage disease type II, etc, are the disease that carry the liver damaging capacities. The external signs of liver infection are a coated tongue, bad breath, skin rashes, itchy skin and eyes, excessive sweating, offensive body odor, dark circles under the eyes, acne, brownish spots and blemishes on the skin, flushed facial appearance or excessive facial blood vessels.Other symptoms include dark urine, pale stool, bone loss, easy bleeding, and itching, small, spider-like blood vessels visible in the skin.

Eating too much junk foods, sweets or simple fat foods, which diabetics often crave of are one causes of a fatty liver. Although eating fatty foods are not proven alone to be the source of having fatty livers, but because of diabetes, obesity may occur which can lead to excess fat on your cells and since excess fat can be transferred and build up to the liver, this will be one of the cause. There is usually no symptoms caused by the fatty liver itself. The liver may enlarge and cause mild pain over the liver area.

During the early stages of liver disease, you may have some vague symptoms such as loss of sex drive, loss of appetite, weight loss and nausea. As the disease progresses to end-stage, or cirrhosis, and the scar tissue replaces the healthy tissue, your body can go through many more changes. You (or your doctor) may notice excess breast tissue, an enlarged liver or spleen, a distended abdomen, reddened palms, yellow eyes or skin (jaundice), pale or clay colored stools, and cola-colored urine.

Menstruation – A Guide

Menstruation is a natural biological process of women. Menstruation is also a sign of a girl growing up to be a woman. The maiden time a girl starts having the menses is called menarche. After that menstruation continues till menopause. Menstruation is also a natural process of preparing a woman’s body to attain motherhood. A normal menstruation cycle continues for a period varying from three to seven days. Counting from the first day of a menstrual period to the next commencement date, each normal menstruation takes place on the 29th day.

Unpleasant symptoms like cramps, migraine, abdominal pain, dejection, breast tenderness etc occurs during menstruation. These symptoms last for only a short span of time after which it is overcome. Menstruation helps in the process of cleaning and purifying the female body from the excess toxins and wastes. Menstruation however can be assumed as a normal process of change in the physiological system in the female body. The cycle of menstruation may vary from woman to woman.

The female reproductive system is indeed marvelous. Every month the ovaries produce one egg which is deposited in the fallopian tube. The uterine wall known as the endometrium thickens and there is increased blood circulation in the entire reproductive system. This is all in preparation of a pregnancy. However, if the woman does not get pregnant, then all these things need to be expelled from the body. This is known as the period. Once the expulsion is done, the ovaries produce a new egg and the cycle continues for another month.

Menstruation signals that fertilization and embedding of fertilised ovum have not occurred on the preceding menstual cycle. Anovular menstruation is cyclical monthly bleeding from only oestrogen primed endometrium. This occurs for a few years after onset of menstruation (menarche) and before final cessation of menstruation (menopause). Menstruation is normal body function. Most women get only vaginal bleeding for 3 5 days with no discomfort.

The herbs like false unicorn root and cramp bark are reported to reduce and relieve cramps associated with PMS and thus can bring PMS relief. Red raspberry is another herb which can relieve the menstrual cramps. These herbs can be particularly helpful for women who have dysmenorrhea. Ayurvedic herb Jatamansi is especially helpful for the conditions associated with menstruation.

PMS is associated with mood swings, irritability of nerves, gas (flatulence), abdominal cramps, headaches, body spasms, short term memory loss, etc. Why? Because of a lack of nutrients or organ-specific foods to these areas for proper functioning. With blood saturated in the vaginal area during the menses and exiting via the vagina, the brain is not going to get the minerals carbon, copper, calcium and potassium (at least the amount it requires). Calcium is a calmative (calming agent).

Remember that menstruation after pregnancy is unpredictable. It will differ from woman to woman, and it changes monthly for a woman. It is all a game of hormones and how well your body copes with the changes. There might be women who might not experience any difference in menstruation before and after pregnancy. A cycle that appears normal to you might not be normal for another woman. Every woman has a different menstruation cycle. You need to understand your body very well, in order to understand your menstruation cycle.

Cure for Backache

Backache, as the name suggest, is nothing but pain in the back. It is one of the most common ailments of the mankind. Medically, it can be considered as lumbago especially when the backache is lower backache. It is a discomfort in the area of lower back and this pain could be acute or chronic. If it has lasted more than couple of months, it needs medical attention. Backache is very commonly seen in women. Most common reason is menstrual periods.

To ease your backache though, stand with your feet shoulder width apart, arms out stretched and then slowly twist on direction as far as you can. Hold it at this limit for 2 seconds and then twist in the opposite direction. Do this for 1-2 minutes and joint tension will decrease and ease your backache. One of the easiest and quickest ways to ease backache is to get moving. Going for a walk, getting up from your desk chair, and being active helps to improve the blood supply and help movement in the area.

Backache caused is degenerative disease, metabolic diseases or congenital. Acute or chronic illnesses like kidney or prostate problems, female disorders, Influenza, and arthritis, may also lead to backache. It can be the result of developmental problems or a tumour. Use this list as a basis of the possible causes of back pain. Backaches occasionally stem from a congenital (present from birth) malformation.

You also must understand that these are only the physical factors. The reason these occur is that your day to day life overloads your body and these factors build. You have general health issues and stress issues that allow your muscles and joints to tire and tighten. If you do nothing about your backache, or only deal with the symptoms of backache, it will either remain or return. This process then creates your chronic back pain.

People find these kinds of pains to be more common as they grow older. Though there are no gender specifics, lumbago may be a bit more in men than in women. In Ayurveda, backache is called as Nithamba Shoola. Ayurveda treats this pain as a vata disorder, which causes both the types of weaknesses, i.e. the bone weakness and the muscle weakness. Hence when deciding on a proper treatment pattern for backache, one needs to consider the vitiation of the vata dosha.

Patients suffering from kidney ailments, too, frequently experience lower left backache. A very conservative kind of treatment needs to be recommended for dealing with pain in this region. In case an individual suffers pain because of an acute kidney problem, he should not be given the same kind of treatment as one gets for a pulled back muscle. In fact, with incorrect treatment, more harm can be caused to the back.

Make sure you get enough rest and sleep. You should also avoid strenuous activities as this tends to aggravate early pregnancy backache. Another way of dealing with early pregnancy backache is to do yoga. You will be able to alleviate your backache by doing appropriate yoga exercises. You should also look for special massages for pregnant women to help you deal with early pregnancy backache.

Bone spurs - Symptoms and Treatment

Bone spurs often develop as a normal result of aging, but other risk factors include: genetics, accidents, sports injuries, nutrition, poor posture, and congenital structural disorders. In addition, several specific conditions such as arthritis, osteoarthritis, plantar fasciitis, and rotator-cuff disorders are also known to increase risk for developing bone spur. Bone spur, or osteophyte, is bony growth sprouting from a normal bone, causing extreme pain and discomfort when pressing against other bone and/or soft tissue.

Symptoms of Bone Spurs in most cases are asymptomatic, meaning they do not show any symptoms that may suggest the presence of the bone formation. However, some cases wherein rubbing in some areas may result to swelling and pain while corns and calluses may be present in the foot due to tissue build up. Bone Spurs Treatment Generally there is no specific treatment for bone spurs especially if they are not presenting any symptoms of pain and swelling .

This is crucial, because ones we know how they form, we'll know how to prevent them, and how to get rid of them. It's the excess calcium in out bodies that makes these formations, today medicine claims. If this is true, how do they form. There is no tubes and channels in our body for this calcium to move. Calcium, or any other alkaline mineral, cannot move through our bodies as solids, they move as energy.

Plantar faschitis pain can become serious enough to be disabling. There are natural ways to treat heel and foot pain without resorting to foot surgery, which should be considered the very last option for foot pain and heel bone spurs. Learn about the things you can do to treat plantar faschitis and reduce heel pain.

Keep inflammation in check with daily heat applications. Hold a heating pad or a hot-water bottle, as warm as can be tolerated and wrapped in a towel, on the affected area for 10 to 15 minutes four to five times a day. Acute pain can be reduced by applying ice to the inflamed area four to five times a day. Hold an ice pack wrapped in a towel or cloth on the area for 10 minutes, then remove the pack for another 10 minutes. Repeat this procedure several times, or until the throbbing subsides.

Osteophytes, the medical term for bone spurs, means an enlargement of the normal bony structure. As we age it is common to find the growth of bone spurs due to degeneration of the spine. Adults over the age of 60 are in a high risk bracket for the growth of Oseteophytes. It is common for some degree of spinal degeneration to occur in everyone as they age. At least 42% of the population will develop bone spurs in their lifetime which can eventually lead to severe symptoms, such as pain to the neck, back and limbs.

The main cause of heel spurs is when the Plantar Fascia, the thick connective tissue that attaches the toes to the heel, becomes inflamed. This abnormal stress on the heel causes calcification of the soft tissue in the foot, creating the conditions for plantar fasciitis. Factors that can lead to this condition include abnormal stress, excessive weight, aging, or poor foot function.
